The project
| | Morphosis Architects designed the new conference center for the city of Nanjing in China. Located in the New Jiangbei District, the project is situated between China's eastern coastal cities and the Yangtze River Delta region. |

For the exterior cladding, Coil has supplied its X-Iconic Bronze B20 - 20 µm anodic layer thickness product based on metal thicknesses 2,5 mm and 3 mm. Widths have been chosen between 1050 mm and 2000 mm. More than 600 tons of pre-anodized aluminium have been supplied for the exterior cladding.
The pre-anodized panels are still being mounted, as you can see on the pictures. An official inauguration, in presence of Chinese President Xi Jinping is scheduled in the Summer 2021. |

| | For this project, Coil has supplied its X-Wall Brush RoseGold product, combined with a 20 µm anodic layer. The rosegold color is one of our latest premium colors developed.
The 1,2 mm thick coils have been cut-to-length and transformed into honeycomb panels. |

| | Over the last years, Coil has developed various project references in Scandinavia, thanks to the close partnership between Coil, the architects and panel makers.
For this project, we have supplied X-Bond Rosegold, 8 microns enhanced anodic layer thickness. After transformation into composite panels, the backside has been routed to allow bending of the composite panel to produce this cross structure between the windows. |

| | This project has been further completed. The exterior tower has been cladded with our X-Wall Standard Mill Finish - 15 µm natural anodized product. But the podium has also made further progress with its cladding based on X-Wall Standard Mill Finish - 15 µm bronze B30 anodized product, based on 3 mm gauge. |

| | The opening is scheduled in January 2022. The choice for a cladding, based on X-Wall Brite Natural - 15 µm anodic layer, based on 2 and 3 mm metal gauge shows once again the big interest for this high reflective builing material. |

Investments on solar energy |

The European Commission's 2030 climate and energy framework includes EU-wide targets and policy objectives for the period 2021 - 2030.
Coil will finish its investments on solar energy in 2021; which will allow our plant in Bernburg, Germany to be CO2-neutral from 2022 on.
