Dear friends and supporters,
I hope this newsletter finds you well and safe in these challenging and turbulent times. Societies, organisations, communities and families are impacted by the devasting consequences of the COVID-19.
As a sector, we have already shown that we have the skills, innovation and resilience to continue our work in these difficult times. In this newsletter, we highlight the ways in which our Members are adapting their ways of working to continue to deliver key services to the women, girls and communities affected by FGM.
This period is also one of big change for me personally. This week I will finish up with End FGM EU. It has been an honour and privilege to have served as Director and have worked with so many passionate activists, experts and change makers. The Network continues to demonstrate what can be achieved when we work together. I wish to thank all who have supported me during my time with the Network. As the Board continues its search for a new Director, Chiara Cosentino will take over as interim Director. I am extremely proud of the work we have done together, and I will forever support the movement to #EndFGM
Warm wishes,
Fiona
