We are five years old!

The European End FGM Network has turned 5 this year! The event was celebrated in Brussels with Members and Ambassadors last April, right before our General Assembly meeting and the launch of our 2018 Annual Report.The Network has also elected two new board members: Sónia Duarte Lopes and Gwladys Awo.

Women 7 Summit

For the first time the End FGM European Network participated in the Women 7 Summit in Paris, which was a space for exchanges between feminists from all over the world to form and strengthen a global movement for women's rights.

Are communities hard to reach?

In Brussels on Friday the 26th of April 2019, the End FGM European Network and GAMS Belgium hosted a European Conference “Preventing FGM in hard to reach communities” and on the same day the Network participated in the screening of the Egyptian movie ‘Amal’, followed by a panel debate

Pharos: A new study on FGM/C in the Netherlands
