The 6th of February was the International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation. A day where actors across the globe unite and speak out to raise awareness of the urgency to end FGM. This year the day was bigger and more impactful than ever with more events, more actors coming on board, and increased media slots.
In Europe, we witnessed FGM is under the spotlight like never before, the Network and our members hosted more events, we had more online engagement and MEPs in the European Parliament passed a new FGM resolution. The momentum is with us, let's continue to work to #EndFGM.
