I, XXX XXXX,, stand with End FGM EU's 2026 campaign #CareInAction2EndFGM. Female Genital Mutilation is a violation of human rights with lifelong consequences. In Europe alone, an estimated 600,000 women and girls are living with the physical and psychological consequences of FGM, and thousands of girls remain at risk.Â
At the current pace, the world will not meet the goal to end FGM by 2030. Progress must accelerate 27 times faster to achieve elimination within this decade. This makes action, not word, more urgent than ever.Â
Today, I raise my voice to stand with survivors, call for accessible, survivor-centred care and protection, urge policymakers, professionals, and communities to turn care into action.

The End FGM European Network will launch its 2026 annual campaign on 5  February  2026 at the European Parliament, on the eve of the International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation.Â
